Old £10 note imminently ceasing to be legal tender

A reminder that the old paper £10.00 note ceases to be legal tender this week with retailers no longer obliged to accept them.

These notes will cease to be legal tender on and from 1 March 2018.

The old note was replaced by a new polymer £10 note in September last year, but over 200 million remain in circulation.
